Ireland, a green lush landscape steeped in history, time and tradition.
Time invariably leads to some traditions dying out, old crafts and skills can become forgotten, confined to history and where the landscape is the only reminder of a dying art.
Before bog oak became popular in the mid 1800's it was used as a utilitarian timber to make functional objects
and this a tradition we hope to preserve, record and pass on to future generations of bog oak woodworkers .
